The herbal blend
Anise, fennel, coriander, and caraway all belong to the umbellifer family. That explains why they work so well together in terms of flavor: their essential oils are chemically related and create a rounded, sweet-spicy aroma.
Anise brings the clearest sweetness, shaped by anethole, which is also found in star anise and fennel. Fennel adds a milder, slightly earthy note. Coriander contributes citrus nuances, while caraway provides the strongest and most aromatic component.
Peppermint leaves are the only ingredient from another family, the mint family. Their menthol provides the fresh counterpoint to the four umbellifers.
Preparation
Pour 3 g of tea over 200 ml of boiling water and let steep for 5 to 8 minutes. For seeds and fruits, the longer steeping time is worthwhile, because the essential oils are released more slowly than in leaves.
A kitchen tip: if you lightly crush the seeds in a mortar before pouring on the water, you get a much more intense aroma. The tea is suitable for any time of day and is naturally caffeine-free.

What's in the bundle
Luna Balance Capsules. This complex combines chasteberry and saffron with the KSM-66® branded ashwagandha ingredient, feverfew, coenzyme Q10, magnesium, zinc, and a full spectrum of B vitamins.
Magnesium Glycinate Capsules. Magnesium in chelated form, bound to the amino acid glycine. This compound is considered especially gentle on the stomach and provides 280 mg of magnesium per daily serving.

What's in the bundle
Men's Capsules. This complex combines the amino acids L-citrulline and L-arginine with pine bark extract, zinc, and selenium. L-citrulline can be converted into L-arginine in the body, which is why the combination of these two amino acids forms the core of the formula.
Organic Black Maca Powder. Black maca is considered the rarest color variety of the Peruvian root. The powder comes from organic farming, and one serving is 10 g, to mix into a smoothie, muesli, or yogurt.
Shilajit Capsules. Shilajit is a mineral-rich resin from mountainous regions with a long history in Ayurvedic tradition. We use the purified and standardized branded ingredient PrimaVie.

The basic equipment for your training
Sport Vital bundles three products that form the foundation of many training routines: creatine, vegan protein, and a magnesium complex. Cheaper as a package than ordered individually.
What’s in the package
Creatine powder. Pure creatine monohydrate without additives, the most thoroughly researched form of creatine. Tasteless and easy to stir into water, juice, or a shake.
Organic vegan protein powder. Over 21 g protein per serving from three plant-based sources: pea, rice, and pumpkin seed. Combining different sources improves the amino acid profile compared with a single plant source.

Shelled organic hemp seeds with 34 g protein per 100 g
Hemp seeds are among the most protein-rich plant-based foods there are. Shelled, they taste mild and nutty, similar to pine nuts, and can be used without preparation.
Shelled or unshelled
Unshelled hemp seeds have a hard, fibrous hull that crunches unpleasantly when chewed. Shelling removes it, leaving the soft seed kernel.
Food-grade hemp is not an intoxicant. For food products, only approved industrial hemp varieties are grown, with THC content limited by law. The seed itself naturally contains practically no THC.
Our hemp seeds come from EU agriculture and controlled organic farming, certified according to the EU Organic Regulation, inspection body number DE-ÖKO-039.
Nutritional values and use
Per 100 g, the shelled seeds contain 34.3 g protein and 43.5 g fat, of which only 4 g are saturated fatty acids. Carbohydrates are 6.4 g, and fiber is 3.8 g. The energy value is 2,351 kJ, or 562 kcal.
That means around 25 percent of the energy value comes from protein. The EU threshold for a high-protein claim is 20 percent.
Shelled hemp seeds need no preparation. They are great on salads, yogurt, and porridge, in smoothies, or as an ingredient in bread and baked goods. They should only be heated briefly, as the fatty acids are delicate.
Organic hemp seeds: origin and quality
One ingredient only: shelled organic hemp seeds. No additives, no oil, no salt. Due to the high fat content, cool storage in the resealable stand-up pouch is recommended. Each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

The only one of our medicinal mushrooms that people also eat
Organic Shiitake capsules from Vitalplant contain extract from Lentinula edodes. Reishi is too bitter, Chaga too hard, Cordyceps too rare. Shiitake, by contrast, is found in every well-stocked supermarket.
From the tree that gave it its name
The name comes from Japanese and is meant literally: Shii refers to the Pasania tree, an East Asian relative of the oak, while take simply means mushroom. So it is the shii mushroom, named after the wood on which it was traditionally grown.
To this day, part of the harvest grows on inoculated hardwood logs outdoors, a method that has been practiced in China and Japan for centuries. Worldwide, Shiitake ranks second in cultivation volume, behind button mushrooms.
In cooking, it is valued for its pronounced umami flavor, which comes from guanylate and even intensifies when dried.
Edible mushroom and extract are two different things
The fact that a mushroom is familiar as a food does not change the rules for the extract. No health claim is permitted in the EU for mushroom extracts.
We therefore do not use culinary familiarity as a back door for claims we would otherwise not be allowed to make. What is stated here is the type, the amount of extract, and the origin.
Dosage compared and quality
At 500 mg per capsule and two capsules a day, Shiitake is the highest-dosed single mushroom in our range. For comparison: Reishi is at 300 mg per capsule, Hericium and Cordyceps at 400 mg.
The extract powder comes from certified organic cultivation, inspection body number DE-ÖKO-039, origin non-EU agriculture. The capsule contains only extract and the vegan shell made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, no anti-caking agent, no filler. Amber glass largely blocks UV light.

Darm Vital brings together three products from our gut and liver theme world, each taking a different approach: a fermented herbal elixir, a fiber blend with medicinal mushrooms, and natural psyllium husks. More affordable in a bundle than ordered separately.
What’s in the package
Organic Darm Elixir fermented drink. A liquid concentrate made from 22 fermented ingredients in organic quality. During fermentation, microorganisms break down the plant-based raw materials and transform them into a characteristically tangy drink, completely free from additives.
Organic Darm Vital powder. Combines seven fiber-rich superfoods with two organic medicinal mushrooms in a powder for shakes or muesli.
Organic psyllium husks. Finely ground, natural husks from India. Psyllium husks are among the most fiber-rich foods of all and swell up considerably when mixed with liquid.
Fiber in everyday life
The German Nutrition Society recommends at least 30 g of fiber per day, a value many people do not reach in everyday life.
