100% VERISOL®, a one-ingredient formula
Kollagen Shine by Vitalplant contains hydrolyzed bovine collagen as VERISOL®. Nothing else: no flavoring, no sweetener, no anti-caking agent.
Peptide size instead of raw material quantity
Intact collagen is a triple helix and practically insoluble in water. Only enzymatic hydrolysis breaks this structure down into short peptide chains. How short they end up depends on which enzymes are used and how long they are allowed to work.
VERISOL® is a registered trademark for a peptide fraction whose manufacturing process is defined. The reason for buying such a raw material lies in reproducibility: every batch goes through the same defined process.
We do not attach any performance promise to that. In the EU, collagen peptides do not carry an approved health claim, and using a brand name as a substitute for one would be dishonest. We state the raw material, amount, and process.
Shine or Move
Also available are Kollagen Move with 100% Fortigel® and Kollagen Pulver with ten grams per serving without brand specification.
Shine and Move are identical in serving size and raw material origin. They differ in the hydrolysis process, not in any quantity that could be compared.
Use and quality
Five grams dissolve completely in 150 ml of liquid, hot or cold. The powder is tasteless and does not gel.
As bovine collagen, the raw material is neither vegan nor vegetarian. Packed in a resealable stand-up pouch, store in a cool, dry place, do not freeze.
Behind Vitalplant is Christian Lazar, licensed pharmacist with over 35 years of professional experience at the Stern Apotheke.
One ingredient, ten grams per serving
Vitalplant collagen powder is made from hydrolyzed bovine collagen. No flavors, no sweeteners, no fillers. The ingredients list has exactly one item.
What hydrolysis means for collagen
In its original state, collagen exists as a triple helix: three protein strands wound around each other. In this form, it is tough and hardly soluble in water. Anyone who has ever let beef broth cool knows the result as a firm jelly.
Enzymatic hydrolysis breaks this structure down into short peptides. The gelling raw material becomes a powder that dissolves in both cold and hot water and does not swell up afterward.
The amino acid profile is characteristic. Around one third of the collagen molecule consists of glycine, the smallest of all amino acids. It also contains proline and hydroxyproline. Hydroxyproline occurs in significant amounts almost exclusively in collagen and is therefore used in food analysis as evidence of it.
Collagen, Move, or Shine
We carry three collagen products side by side. This one is the quantity-focused option: ten grams per serving, twice as much as Kollagen Move and Kollagen Shine, but without a defined peptide fraction.
Move and Shine instead rely on branded raw materials with a defined manufacturing process, but provide five grams per serving. Quantity on one side, a specified raw material on the other: that is the difference.
Origin and processing
The powder is flavor-neutral and can also be stirred into hot coffee without changing its aroma. As a raw material of animal origin, collagen is neither vegan nor vegetarian.
It is filled into a resealable stand-up pouch. Store in a cool, dry place, do not freeze, and protect from direct sunlight.
Behind Vitalplant is Christian Lazar, a licensed pharmacist with over 35 years of professional experience at the Stern Pharmacy.
100% Fortigel®, nothing else
Kollagen Move by Vitalplant contains hydrolysed bovine collagen as Fortigel®. No second ingredient, no flavourings, no sweeteners.
What a branded raw material says
Fortigel® is a registered trademark for a specifically manufactured collagen peptide fraction. The difference from a generally declared collagen hydrolysate lies in the process: enzyme selection, temperature control, and process duration determine which peptide sizes are created when the collagen triple helix is broken down. A branded raw material defines this process and makes it reproducible from batch to batch.
We are deliberately not claiming what this does in the body. No health claim is approved in the EU for collagen peptides. What we can state is the raw material, its quantity, and the process behind it, and that is exactly what can be verified.
Move or Shine
In addition to Move, we offer Kollagen Shine with 100% VERISOL® and the plain Collagen Powder without brand specification.
Move and Shine differ neither in the serving size nor in the source animal. Both are hydrolysed bovine collagen, and both provide five grams per scoop. The only difference lies in the hydrolysis process and thus in the peptide profile. Which one is right depends on your preference for the respective branded raw material.
Use and quality
The powder is flavourless and dissolves in both cold and hot drinks without gelling. Stirred into coffee, it leaves the aroma unchanged.
Collagen comes from cattle and is therefore neither vegan nor vegetarian. Filled in a resealable stand-up pouch, store in a cool, dry place and do not freeze.

26 ingredients with vitamin C, manganese, and copper
The Joint Complex from Vitalplant is the most comprehensive formula in our range: 26 ingredients in two daily capsules, from glucosamine and hyaluronic acid to twelve vitamins and eight minerals.
What’s inside the daily dose
700 mg glucosamine and 460 mg vegan chondroitin alternative. The glucosamine is available as hydrochloride in vegan quality, and the chondroitin alternative is derived from algae extract. Classic chondroitin comes from animal cartilage.
50 mg hyaluronic acid and 50 mg MSM. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide that occurs naturally in connective tissue. MSM stands for methylsulfonylmethane, an organic sulfur compound.
Twelve vitamins and eight minerals, including vitamin C, vitamin K2, zinc, manganese, copper, selenium, chromium, molybdenum, and iodine. Plus 10 mg quercetin, 10 mg resveratrol, and 2 mg boron.
What the nutrients do
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal cartilage function and for normal bones. Collagen is the structural protein that cartilage and connective tissue are largely made of.
Manganese contributes to normal connective tissue formation, copper to the maintenance of normal connective tissue. Vitamin K and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.
All claims listed above are included in the EU Register of authorized health claims. For glucosamine, chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, and MSM, there are no authorized claims. For these, we state the amount and source.
Joint Complex capsules: composition and quality
Packing 26 ingredients into two capsules is a matter of formula density. The capsule shell is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Glucosamine, chondroitin alternative, and MSM are vegan, making the product completely plant-based. Bottled in amber glass, each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.
Behind Vitalplant is Christian Lazar, a licensed pharmacist with over 35 years of professional experience at Stern Apotheke.
Zinc and Vitamin C in one capsule
Vitalplant Zinc + C capsules combine two micronutrients that are often taken separately. One capsule provides 10 mg zinc and 320 mg vitamin C.
Two nutrients, two forms
Vitamin C as PureWay-C®. A trademarked vitamin C complex in which ascorbic acid is combined with citrus bioflavonoids. 340 mg PureWay-C® contains 320 mg vitamin C, which corresponds to 400 percent of the nutrient reference value.
Zinc as bisglycinate. 34 mg zinc bisglycinate provide 10 mg elemental zinc, and thus 100 percent of the nutrient reference value. The zinc is bound to two molecules of the amino acid glycine, a structure known as a chelate.
The difference compared with our Zinc 25: there, the zinc content is 25 mg per capsule, but without vitamin C. Zinc + C is designed for anyone who wants both nutrients in one capsule.
What zinc and vitamin C do
Vitamin C contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, as well as to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones, and blood vessels. Vitamin C also increases iron absorption.
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, and nails, and to normal cognitive function. Both nutrients help protect cells from oxidative stress. All statements listed are registered in the EU Register of authorised health claims.
Zinc + C capsules: composition and quality
The formula consists of three ingredients: PureWay-C®, zinc bisglycinate, and the capsule shell made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. No fillers, no anti-caking agents, no colourings. The product is vegan and gluten-free, filled in amber glass. Each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

Cold-pressed organic black cumin oil with natural vitamin E
Black cumin has been used for centuries in the Mediterranean region and the Middle East as a spice and oil plant. Vitalplant’s organic black cumin oil capsules provide the cold-pressed oil in capsule form, supplemented with natural vitamin E.
What’s in the capsules
Black cumin oil from organic farming. The oil is obtained from the seeds of Nigella sativa, a buttercup family plant with striking pale blue flowers. The seeds are black, angular, and about two millimeters in size. The raw material comes from EU agriculture and is certified according to the EU organic regulation, inspection body number DE-ÖKO-039.
About half of the oil is linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is a polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid that the body cannot produce on its own. It is therefore one of the essential fatty acids.
Vitamin E as D-alpha-tocopherol. This is the natural form of the vitamin, not the synthetic one. One capsule contains 5 mg, which corresponds to 42 percent of the nutrient reference value.
What vitamin E does
Vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress. This statement is included in the EU Register of authorized health claims, so it has been scientifically reviewed and officially approved.
For the oil itself, we state its origin, cultivation method, and fatty acid profile. That can be verified.
Organic black cumin oil capsules: composition and quality
The formula consists of three ingredients: the organic black cumin oil, the capsule shell made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and vitamin E. No fillers, no colorants, no artificial preservatives. The product is vegan and gluten-free. Oils are sensitive to light, which is why it is filled into amber glass. Each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

2,000 mg L-citrulline and 1,600 mg L-arginine per daily dose
Vitalplant Men Capsules rely on two amino acids in a high dosage, supplemented with pine bark extract and two trace elements. The daily dose consists of two capsules twice daily.
The two amino acids
L-citrulline, 2,000 mg. A non-proteinogenic amino acid, meaning it is not incorporated into proteins. It owes its name to watermelon, botanically Citrullus lanatus, from which it was first isolated.
L-arginine, 1,600 mg. A semi-essential amino acid. The body can produce it itself, but under certain conditions not in sufficient amounts. Citrulline and arginine are directly connected in metabolism.
200 mg pine bark extract from the bark of the maritime pine, Pinus pinaster. Plus 3.6 mg zinc and 36 µg selenium.
What zinc and selenium do
Zinc contributes to normal fertility and normal reproduction. Selenium contributes to normal sperm formation.
Both also help protect cells from oxidative stress. All statements listed are included in the EU Register of authorized health claims.
There are no authorized claims for L-citrulline, L-arginine, or pine bark extract. For these, we state the amount and source.
Men's Capsules: composition and quality
Amino acids in this amount cannot be encapsulated without processing aids. The formula therefore contains natural magnesium stearate as a release agent and silicon dioxide as an anti-caking agent. Both are approved additives and are listed in the ingredients. No colorants, no flavors. The product is vegan, filled in amber glass. Each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

Twelve nutrients in one daily capsule
Skin, hair, and nails are largely made up of keratin, and the body continually rebuilds them. The Skin Hair Nails capsules from Vitalplant provide twelve nutrients in a single daily capsule.
What’s in the daily capsule
Horsetail extract, 290 mg. The extract is standardized to seven percent silica. Horsetail is one of the oldest still-existing plant genera and stores silica in unusually high concentrations in its cell walls.
Acerola extract, 90 mg. This provides 23 mg of natural vitamin C, which corresponds to 28 percent of the nutrient reference value. The acerola cherry is one of the fruits richest in vitamin C.
Ten vitamins and minerals. Biotin at 720 micrograms, zinc at 5 mg, plus niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, E, B1, B2, B6, B12, and folic acid. Ten of these are at 100 percent of the nutrient reference value or above.
What the nutrients do
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin. Collagen is the structural protein that gives connective tissue its strength.
Niacin, vitamin A, and riboflavin contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Zinc contributes to normal DNA synthesis and normal protein synthesis.
All of the statements listed are included in the EU Register of authorized health claims.
Skin Hair Nails capsules: composition and quality
Packing twelve nutrients into one capsule is a matter of formulation density. Even so, the formula contains no fillers, flow agents, or colorings. The product is vegan and filled in amber glass. Each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

Vitamin D3 with K2 and magnesium, in two dosages
Vitalplant Vitamin D3+ capsules are available in 2,000 and 4,000 IU. Both versions contain the same formula; they differ only in the amount of vitamin D and the dosing schedule.
Why two strengths lead to the same result
Vitamin D is fat-soluble and is stored in the body. It therefore does not need to be taken daily, but can be taken at longer intervals.
2,000 IU every other day or 4,000 IU every fourth day both work out to an average of 1,000 IU per day. Which option is more suitable is a matter of personal routine, not quantity.
200 µg vitamin K2 as MK7. Menachinone-7 is the long-chain form of vitamin K2 and corresponds to 260 percent of the nutrient reference value.
600 mg magnesium citrate, providing 90 mg elemental magnesium. Vitamin D3, K2 and magnesium are closely related in nutritional science, which is why they are combined here in one capsule.
What vitamin D, K and magnesium do
Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, normal muscle function, and normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus. It also plays a role in cell division.
Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal blood clotting. Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and the maintenance of normal bones.
All of the stated claims are listed in the EU Register of authorized health claims.
Vitamin D3+ capsules: composition and quality
The formula consists of four ingredients: magnesium citrate, cholecalciferol, menachinone MK7, and the capsule shell made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. No fillers, no anti-caking agents, no colorants. Bottled in amber glass. Every batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

Frankincense extract with 90 percent boswellic acids
Frankincense is neither an herb nor a root, but a tree resin. The frankincense capsules from Vitalplant contain an extract from the resin of Boswellia serrata, standardized to 90 percent boswellic acids.
How frankincense is obtained
The bark of the tree is carefully scored. At the cut, a milky sap emerges, hardens in the air, and forms tear-shaped pieces. These resin tears are collected by hand after a few weeks.
From old trees. The resin for our extract comes from trees that are at least ten years old. Younger trees produce less and are put under greater strain by scoring.
Boswellic acids as the key measure. They are the characteristic components of Boswellia resin and serve as the standardization value. Our extract is at 90 percent, and one capsule contains 600 mg.
Boswellia serrata: tree and trade history
Boswellia serrata grows in the dry regions of India. Related species are found in Oman, Yemen, and Somalia. The trees are gnarled, grow slowly, and get by with very little water.
For thousands of years, frankincense was among the most valuable trade goods of all. The Frankincense Trail connected South Arabia with the Mediterranean region, and in many cultures the resin was a fixed part of ritual incense burning. It is still used that way today.
Frankincense capsules: composition and quality
The formula consists of two components: the frankincense extract and the capsule shell made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. No fillers, no anti-caking agents, no colorants. The product is vegan and gluten-free, filled in amber glass. Each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

Fermented organic drink made from 22 plant-based ingredients
Most dietary supplements come as capsules or powders. Vitalplant’s Bio Gut Elixir is a liquid ferment: 22 fruit, vegetable, and herb ingredients from certified organic farming, prepared with microorganisms and fermented.
What fermentation does to the ingredients
Fermentation is one of the oldest food production methods. Microorganisms transform the components of the raw material in the process. Cabbage becomes sauerkraut, milk becomes yogurt, grapes become wine. The process takes time, temperature, and the right cultures.
Seven cultures. Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli are at work in the starter, a total of seven different strains. They are contained in the finished drink.
That’s why it’s liquid. A ferment cannot be put into a capsule without losing its character. For Gut Elixir, the liquid form is not a matter of convenience, but the result of the process.
The 22 ingredients
The largest share consists of root and tuber vegetables: Jerusalem artichoke, beetroot, pumpkin, onion, and garlic. These are joined by fruits including cranberry, pomegranate, raspberry, blackberry, grape, blueberry, and apple.
The recipe is rounded out with leafy vegetables and herbs such as broccoli, parsley, dandelion, and artichoke, as well as spices: ginger, turmeric, and pepper. Spirulina, walnut, and lemon complete the blend.
For fermented plant-based ingredients, we state the recipe, origin, and process. This can be verified.
Bio Gut Elixir: composition and quality
The elixir is certified under the EU organic regulation, certification body number DE-ÖKO-039, and the ingredients come from EU and non-EU agriculture. It is bottled in amber glass. Every batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

Seven plant compounds with vitamin C from acerola
The Venen Komplex capsules from Vitalplant combine seven plant-based ingredients. Most of them belong to the same group of substances: secondary plant compounds from the flavonoid group and related compounds.
Seven ingredients, one group of substances
Red vine leaf, 150 mg per capsule. A 4:1 extract from the leaves of the red wine grapevine, which turn a characteristic red in autumn.
Rutin, 150 mg. A flavonoid that naturally occurs in buckwheat and elderberry, among other sources.
Pine bark extract, 100 mg. Obtained from the bark of the maritime pine, Pinus pinaster.
Grape seed extract, 100 mg. Standardized to 95 percent OPC, oligomeric proanthocyanidins, also compounds from the flavonoid family.
Acerola extract, 90 mg. Standardized to 25 percent natural vitamin C. This provides 22.5 mg vitamin C per capsule.
Quercetin, 10 mg, and black pepper extract, 5 mg with 95 percent piperine.
What vitamin C does
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal blood vessel function. Collagen is the structural protein that gives vessel walls their strength.
Vitamin C also helps protect cells from oxidative stress and reduces tiredness and fatigue. Two capsules a day provide 56 percent of the nutrient reference value. All three claims are listed in the EU Register of authorized health claims.
Venen Komplex capsules: composition and quality
The formula consists of the seven ingredients and the capsule shell made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. No fillers, no anti-caking agents, no colorants. The product is vegan and gluten-free, packed in amber glass. Every batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.

Shilajit capsules with PrimaVie from the Himalayas
Shilajit is neither a plant extract nor a mineral in the classic sense, but something in between. The Shilajit capsules from Vitalplant contain PrimaVie, a standardized, trademarked raw ingredient.
What Shilajit actually is
Shilajit is a resin-like mass that emerges from rock fissures in the high altitudes of the Himalayas. It formed over very long periods from plant material that was transformed under pressure and through alternating frost and heat. That is why Shilajit is found only at certain elevations and only in small quantities.
What is characteristic is its content of fulvic and humic acids. These are organic acids that also occur in humus-rich soils. They give the raw material its dark color and earthy character.
Why a trademarked raw ingredient. Depending on where it is found, raw Shilajit varies considerably in composition and may contain impurities from the rock. PrimaVie is a purified extract calibrated for consistent values. For a natural substance of this kind, that is the decisive quality difference.
Origin and history of use
In India, Nepal, and Tibet, Shilajit has been known for a very long time and has many names there. The most common one, Shilajit, comes from Sanskrit and is usually translated as conqueror of mountains or rock sweat.
It is still collected by hand today, mostly in the summer months, when the heat causes the mass to seep out of the rock. That explains why Shilajit has never become a mass-market raw material.
Shilajit capsules: composition and quality
The formula consists of two components: the PrimaVie Shilajit extract and the capsule shell made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. No fillers, no release agents, no colorants. The product is vegan and gluten-free. Especially with a raw material from rock, testing is crucial, which is why every batch is checked for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.
Behind Vitalplant is Christian Lazar, a licensed pharmacist with over 35 years of professional experience at the Stern Pharmacy.
Three plant extracts with zinc, selenium, and vitamin E
The Prosta Plant capsules from Vitalplant combine three standardized plant extracts with four micronutrients. The extracts provide the amount, the nutrients provide the scientifically substantiated function.
The three plant extracts
Pumpkin seed extract, 350 mg per capsule. A 15:1 extract, meaning fifteen parts of raw material are used for one part of extract. The seeds of Cucurbita pepo, the oil pumpkin, are used.
Saw palmetto extract, 160 mg. A 10:1 extract standardized to 45 percent fatty acids. Serenoa repens is a fan palm from the southeastern USA; the fruits are used.
Nettle root extract, 60 mg. A 20:1 extract from the root of Urtica dioica. Unlike in tea, the leaf is not used here, but the root.
What zinc, selenium, and vitamin E do
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood as well as to normal fertility and reproduction. One capsule contains 2.5 mg, which corresponds to 25 percent of the nutrient reference value.
Selenium contributes to normal sperm production. One capsule provides 27.5 micrograms and thus 50 percent of the nutrient reference value.
Vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It contains 5.9 mg per capsule, also 50 percent of the nutrient reference value. All claims listed are registered in the EU Register of authorized health claims.
Prosta Plant capsules: composition and quality
In addition to the extracts and micronutrients, the formula contains 20 mg L-lysine, an essential amino acid. The capsule shell is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. No fillers, no colorants. The product is vegan and gluten-free, filled in amber glass. Each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.
Behind Vitalplant is Christian Lazar, a licensed pharmacist with over 35 years of professional experience at Stern Apotheke.
Omega 3 from algae oil with 250 mg DHA per capsule
Omega-3 fatty acids usually come from fish. However, fish do not produce them themselves; they absorb them through microalgae. That is why Vitalplant’s Omega 3 Vegan capsules start right at the source.
Algae oil instead of fish oil
Schizochytrium microalgae. These marine microorganisms are cultivated in closed facilities, not harvested from the sea. This means the oil does not rely on catch quotas and is free from the fishy taste that many fish oil capsules fail on.
250 mg DHA and 125 mg EPA per capsule. DHA and EPA are the two long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that matter. Plant-based sources such as linseed or rapeseed oil, by contrast, provide ALA, which the body would first have to convert, and that only happens to a limited extent.
Vitamin D3 as an addition. One capsule contains 2.5 micrograms, which corresponds to 100 International Units and 50 percent of the nutrient reference value. The oil is also protected against oxidation with rosemary extract and tocopherols.
What DHA, EPA and vitamin D do
DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and to the maintenance of normal vision. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA, which corresponds to one capsule.
EPA and DHA together contribute to normal heart function. This effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg EPA and DHA.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to the maintenance of normal bones, and to normal muscle function. All claims mentioned are listed in the EU Register of approved health claims.
Omega 3 Vegan capsules: composition and quality
The capsule shell is a vegan alternative to the classic gelatin capsule and consists of modified starch, vegetable glycerin, and carrageenan. The product is vegan and gluten-free, filled into light-protective amber glass. Each batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.
Behind Vitalplant is Christian Lazar, a licensed pharmacist with over 35 years of professional experience at the Stern Apotheke.
Fiber powder with 58 g fiber per 100 g
Dietary fiber is the part of plant-based food that the small intestine does not break down. The German Nutrition Society recommends that adults consume at least 30 grams per day. Vitalplant’s Bio Darm Vital powder is made up of just under 59 percent fiber.
Where the fiber comes from
Acacia fiber. Obtained from acacia resin, also known as gum arabic. The fiber is water-soluble, tasteless, and barely changes the consistency of the mixed powder.
Inulin from agave and Jerusalem artichoke. Inulin is a polysaccharide made of fructose units that many plants store as a reserve substance. Jerusalem artichoke is the classic European source, agave the South American one.
Lucuma, baobab, celery, and ginger. Four additional plant-based ingredients. Lucuma is a South American fruit with a caramel-like aroma, baobab the fruit of the African monkey bread tree.
Two mushroom extracts. Lion’s mane mushroom and turkey tail, both from certified organic cultivation.
What high fiber content means
In the EU, the claim “high fiber content” is tied to a fixed threshold: at least 6 grams of fiber per 100 grams. At just under 59 grams, Bio Darm Vital is almost ten times this value.
This is a nutrition claim, not a health claim. It describes what is contained and makes no promise of an effect.
Bio Darm Vital: composition and quality
All ingredients come from certified organic cultivation, certified according to the EU Organic Regulation, inspection body number DE-ÖKO-039. No sugar, no flavorings, no anti-caking agents. Because the powder contains no artificial additives, it tends to clump, so reseal it well after each use. Every batch is tested for heavy metals by an independent laboratory.
